Summer 2009 Garbage strike,a temporary dump site was set up using the skating rink at Christie Pits
The "friends of Christie pits" were there to tell the city they did not approve.

The message seems clear!

I wanted to stop the use of Permethrin being sprayed at the site.However Mayor Miller and the City of Toronto obtained a court injunction effectively forcing me to not "interfere" with the spraying.A concentration of over 30% was used at the site and there has never been a report regarding the cleanup after the strike.
